Any suggestions for mounting this antenna on a Ford Focus with a sunroof?  I like the Breedlove mounts, but they are too expensive.  I have no problem with drilling holes.

After trying various 3/8 body mounts over the last few years and finding I had to replace them every 6 months because they use press fittings internally that do not stand up to the side load put on them by a screwdriver antenna your best options are:

1) Breedlove mounts.

2) The 3/8 mount assembly used on the Diamond K400 antenna but you'd need to strengthen the roof area around it by putting a thick metal sheet under it.

I really would spend the money on the Breedlove. You'll fit it once and that's it. With the others, a few months down the line you'll be driving down the road listening to the audio going in and out and wondering if you've a loose connection. You don't, its yet another crappy mount failing.
