As the title implies, I passed the Extra exam on Saturday, March 1st.

It's been a four year journey...finally home.

I'm excited.   Just from my spotter program I already know how many good DX contacts I've missed.   Here's hoping I make up for the lost time.

Congrats. Now you have to learn to act, talk, and walk like an extra. Big cigar, lose the ballcap, gold wrist chains, large tattoo callsign on arm, martini glass in hand........Forget where the etiquette  manual is, but someone here will find it.

AEC:  Congratulations!!  The four year march indicates determination and perseverance!

LZ: What the hell does all of that mean?

I've already considered going the VE route.   I'm active in our local club, K8EEN, and we have a great group of guys already on the VE rolls.

Congratulations on your "Extra".  When I started the first Licence I got was a Limited.  Not much good as it was mainly an experimenters licence, as it limited Amateurs to frequencies above 52MHz.  Then I passed my Morse Code and suddenly everything was "open": all the bands and all the modes.  This was the second proudest moment in my life.  The proudest was when the Broadcast Technician licence arrived.  This took many years of very hard study and determination.

Congratulations! Nice accomplishment; I remember getting up early every day before work and studying for an hour. Paid off.....only missed one question.
