Picked up a Kenwood TM-261A and would anyone be able to tell me how to put in the Frequency "Shift" the "CTCSS" and then putting that frequency in memory.

A common error is to try and modify  the  mermory location.  Can't do it.
All programmiing must be done in   vfo  mode.. then  transfer to memory.
I have several  tm-2xx radios.  i think easier to program than my  icom..
