Hello everyone,

I use logger 32 and I am working on a remote control connection. I bought a winkey electronic keyer connected on my local PC. It is an USB plug and the perificals manager see it, as a port com.

So far so good.

So, my question is how to link the winkey keyer to the distant PC?

Any help will be very grateful.

Steph, You need a serial port to tcp/ip converter.  This will send serial com port data over a network or Internet to your distant pc.  Give VSPE a try.  It's free and easy to setup.  http://www.eterlogic.com/Products.VSPE.html  You will install a TCP server on the pc that is connected to your radio and a TCP client and Connector on the remote pc.   If you are trying to do this over the Internet you will have to configure port forwarding on your Internet router to allow connections between the two computers.  -Joe n3hee
