Congratulations on the contact.
For me hearing them was not the problem, it was being heard by them that was a lot of work.
I am told the QRN in most of China is a constant 59 due to all the craptastic electronic products that they use.

Great prop on the high bands to China and Asia. BG2AUE and BG3UPA were both 599 tonight on 10. ZL7 was audible but had a pretty big pileup.

No luck for me. Should I do an early morning attempt from the east coast? Afternoons have not worked.

Most of my China QSO on 10 and 15 meter have been 2200-0200 utc.  Prop should get better to China in the upcoming months.

I think DST has hurt me. Before DST, I could hear quite a few China stations, but could not hear me. I may have to wait another month.

Vinnie,

If you could hear him but he couldn't hear you it's time to pick up an amp.  It's common for Chinese stations to see S9+ noise on their end.  The extra power on your end will help.  GL.
