A tidbit of news this morning from RF Concepts announcing that  Alpha Amplifiers and Ten-Tec have merged under the RF Concepts banner.  Both Booths at Dayton will feature special offers to commemorate the merger.

A merger, not an acquisition?

Wow, didn't see that one coming.  Nothing on either web site.

Alpha lost a senior executive a year or so ago.

Ten Tec has business lines not related to ham radio.  They discontinued two radios are year or so ago due to parts availability.   Remains to be seen how this will affect their dedication/ability to develop their next radio.

-Ten Tec has previously announced they are moving their facility in Fall 2014, with a moving clearance sale in September.
