I don't think I've ever met anyone called 'Bernie'. I did know a French guy called 'Bernard', who was very nice guy, though.

Hmm... I was offered a maintenance contract on a cheaper flash drive. $1.99 for a year to replace the flash drive I had purchased. I told them I wasn't interested. This was at Wal-Mart.

One cashier, at Wal-Mart, did try that 'Well Sir, everyone else got the agreement !'. I pointed out I'm not everyone else, and I didn't see the need.

I do know that some companies, the cashier gets part or most of the money, so it is for their benefit you pay it.

No, I don't buy maintenance agreements.
