Sad but not surprising.
It is said that:
"The more homogeneous a group of people are in their thinking, the narrower the range of ideas that the group will openly consider.

I like the following quote:

"> This group was not founded, grown and maintained so that a few individuals
> can come in, not contribute to the greater good of the KX3 community, but
> then attempt to divert/steal traffic and visitors for their own profit and
> marketing efforts. "

It's a bunch of rejects from the Elecraft mailing list so far as is evidenced by their attitude.

Really? I have seen Wayne and Eric post there - are they rejects? There are a lot of good people on that Group. Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater.

The good news is that the Yahoo KX3 Group is under new ownership and is now more open to new ideas.  We have over 4600 members and a lively dialog about all things KX3.  Our active contributing members include Don Wilhelm as well as Wayne Burdick and Eric Swartz.  We hope anyone interested int eh KX3 will join, learn and contribute!

I realize this post is pretty old but I was one of those kicked off the KX3 group for mentioning a KX3 heatsink and merely commenting I thought is was a good value for the price.  Bingo I was kicked off.  I replied I was sorry and didn't realize I had violated any rules and suggested I be given a warning.  The moderator did not even have the courtesy to respond.

I would like to be get back on as I have recently purchased a KX2.  So if the moderator would respond I would like to have a conversation.
