Meteor Mode in UI-View32 Reply
by KB2HSH on January 17, 2009 Mail this to a friend!
For most of my APRS chores, I rely on UISS. Recently, I purchased another Buxcomm Rascal to connect my u-VAIO laptop with my Icom IC-2AT. Since this setup won't be used for satellite work, and strictly terrestrial, I downloaded UI-View32 for it. Searching around in the feature menus, I noticed the inclusion of a Meteor Mode. Has anyone ever USED this feature? It sounds very appealing...and given the brevity of "rox", as it were, a quick transmission such as [FN02] seems like it could work very well.

Thanks for any help, answers, suggestions!
