Gate own WX from IP to RF?

Hello Group,
I'm running UIView on a dedicated WinXP machine 24x7. UIView is connected to both the internet and a radio/tnc on 144.39. I have UIView setup as an iGate using my callsign with no SSID (N3QD).
I also have an NSLU2 running Linux and wview. This is connected to my Davis Vantage Pro and uploads APRS WX to findu via my broadband internet connection. The problem is, wview does not produce the "WXNOW.txt" file needed by UIView to transmit that WX via RF. wview sends my WX to findu via the internet using N3QD-1.
In an attempt to get my WX on the local RF network; within UIView, I edited the igate.ini file to contain "N3QD-1 = ALL". But UIView is not gating my WX to the local RF network. Any ideas why?
Thanks,
Mike (N3QD)

Hi Group,
I figured it out! It wasn't a UI-View problem. It was a CWOP problem. My packets were going to cwop.aprs.net, which is an unauthenticated connection. I'm only assuming that unauthenticated CWOP packets don't get gated to RF...with good reason! Since wview does not allow for authenticated connections to APRS-IS, I hooked the Vantage Pro up to the computer running UI-View, and configured an APRS Report in WeatherLink. Voila! Now UI-View gates my WX within a few seconds of receiving it via IP. Now I have to find a new use for the SLUG! :)

Mike (N3QD)
