TinyTrak4 question Reply
by CTHAM on May 2, 2009 Mail this to a friend!
So last night I was programming it with the program to add my callsign I have a question which I don't know if it's normal or not..

I noticed if you turn on the TT4 then run the config program it will say it can't find it.. But if you run the config program to search for the TT4 (it's on COM 1) right after the LED's stop going back and forth it will find it.

So I was doing some testing in UI-view last night I guess it found the TT4 on COM 1 I really can't tell.

I just know if I did something like send beacon or send message it would never transmit right away it seems to be on it's own interval.

So did I miss a step here?

The TT4 may ignore the request from your serial port if its involved in doing something important, like resetting or transmitting. Thats normal, not to worry.

I've had the same thing happen with the TT3. Usually after one or two more tries, 'Mr. Computer' finds it.
