Does anyone know of a simple command line TNC output emulator utility that will allow me to convert a Lat,Lon,Time value into an APRS compatible WAV file?
Actually if it just let me convert a text file that would be enough as I could format the payload myself.
Optionally, since I know enough about programming and WAV file format to create the file, can anyone point me to a reference or source code that shows how one would turn an ASCII string into AFSK tone definition data (a series frequency number of cycle pairs).

Setup the APRS software, and tell Sound Recorder to capture the output...
