Hello ~
I am debating if I want to use a laptop to track APRS data such a other people xmiting APRS positions. I wanted to know from other people other who use APRS what they use? If they use a laptop, which programs do they use and where can I find them? I know there are a few out there but I have a issue getting them config with my laptop and see other APRS positions. Or if they use the G5.
I hope this doesn't sound confusing.

No programs are need when connected to the internet. You can bring up "APRS.FI" or several other sites just to view activity. If not connected to the internet you will need a program such as UI-VIEW32 (or several others), a Modem, and radio.
