Garmin Nuvi 650 compatability Reply

I am considering purchasing the TM-710A for APRS use but I do not want the additional expense of another GPS unit as I already have the Garmin Nuvi 650. I know there is a cable that will work with the Nuvi 350. My question is: Does anyone know if this cable will work with the Nuvi 650?

The 710A will work with any GPS that outputs NMEA sentences, but does not display APRS stations as waypoints on the GPS display without a translator cable from Argenta. The translator cable works with the NUVI-300 series, but may not display with other Garmin GPS"S.
