Does anyone know of any java or Symbian based APRS software for smartphones? I'm thinking it would be cool to use my phone's built in GPS to then send my position via APRS servers without even using a mobile radio. That would cut down on RFI into other mobile gear. I know there is a lot of stuff out there to display other people's info, but that's no big deal cause the phone can already do that without any software by just going online. I'm looking for something to allow me to send my position.

I am using APRSISCE application on my Sprint Mogul right now. It is still being developed, but it works great!!
You would need to sign up for the APRSISCE group in Yahoo Groups to get a copy of it and install it. But it does work well.
