The amplifier turn on, but appears the error 1005 and not have 48 volts of tension, but of the 12 V ok! would be the problem? the repair is simple? i need outline of the electrical source that does not follow the manual. Thanks

The repair would probably be very difficult. There virtually is no known schematic available to the public for the power supply. Apparently, the power supply is not built by Yaesu, it appears that it is supplied under contract to Yaesu by a third party. I think the name of the company was Alpha Power Systems of Japan, but I could never find any information about them either. Best bet is to ship the supply to Yaesu and hope for the best. 73 AB4D Jim

I have a full service manual and schematics for the Quadra system including the power supply. This is available to anyone who posts their email address in this thread. Please be aware that the manual is a 10Mb pdf which cannot be split. Repairs using this manual are of course done at your own risk, even if it's produced by Yaesu. Tanakasan
