Dial scales? Reply
by VE3TMT on October 23, 2009 Mail this to a friend!
Hi,

I'm using an Ameritron AL-84 but find the LOAD and PLATE dial markings are crude to say the least. I'd like to make more defined scales that I can print onto bristol board and place behind the controls. Does anyone have a lead for a program that will allow me to design such a scale, or has anyone made their own 0-100 180 degree scale that I can resize and print for this application?

Thanks,
Max

I've used the pie chart utility in Excel to do this.

I've never used it but the Meter program at www.tonnesoftware.com looks pretty slick and might work for a dial scale.
