Usenet went all to hell once people started cross-posting sex ads and material in the newsgroups. I used to love the newsgroups. A lot of good information was passed on these groups, but now with the internet revolution, newsgroups are basically a ghost of the past. Can't wait for the internet to come crashing down so maybe people will realize how good packet and BBS's actually were (albeit slow connection speeds, but the comms got through reliably).

Thanks for the heads up. Actually, I have been checking out newsgroups lately and there has been a definite improvement. I don't pull em up everyday, but I do at least weekly. Give the currenty moderated groups a chance. 73
