It is all about control and micro-management of personal lives. Not much different that being told you cannot park your licensed RV at your residence, plant certain varieties of trees, use unusual colors on your home, or have a yard sale. Some folks view these rules as necessary to an orderly life. Others view the same rules as governmental intrusion.
