Use of 73 or 73s at end of QSO Reply

I never realy understood why some people get so bent out of shape over little issues like this. So what one is gramatically correct! Who cares if you get 73's, best 73's or even the dreadfull 73rds. Myself, I like dadaditditdit ditditditdahdah.
