Hello, I have a Kenwood TS700a and was wondering if there was an audible side tone when operating CW. My radio does not seem to have one, and I want to be sure it's working correctly.

I had one of these back in the 70's when it was new, and as I recall: No, there is no CW sidetone oscillator.

Of course, there's also no internal keyer! So, I just used a keyer that had its own oscillator, as most of them do.
