Galaxy R-530 Reply

I purchased an R-530 receiver recently. I really like the receiver, but the PTO and the PLL need alignment. The manuals on BAMA for this receiver are "preliminary" manuals and do not include the alignment directions. Does anyone know the proper directions for aligning the PLL and PTO in this receiver?

Thanks,
Bob

I don't, unfortunately.

But I remember the receiver! It was very slick and very expensive when it was new, and I don't think many were ever sold.

It's a great find! I hope you get it working okay.

If your R530 does not have an AM filter and you want one let me know. I have both the AM and SSB filters for this radio. I used to have one but the power supply shorted and so now I have a parts rig....nothing more.

Hello.

I came across a post of yours concerning the R530 receiver.

I have a need for a meter and other parts.

I have an R530 which I am restoring.

I have want ads posted on other sites for parts radio.

Thanks for reading.
