Hello - Does anyone have any opinions concerning the ARRL's Introduction to Morse Code program? How about N5NL's Code Course? Any others worth exploring? Thanks in advance. -Bill-

JustLearnMorseCode by LB3KB is another great free program using the koch method to learn morse code. It's similar to the G4FON program, but is a bit more flexible when it comes to configurations. I have used it myself and I'm now capable of copying morse code at 20WPM, just by using Koch method and the JustLearnMorseCode program.

Another program to use if you want to increase your speed is the RufzXP program. This program sends callsigns at various speeds. If you copy the callsign correct it increases the speed, if you copy wrong it decreases the speed. It can be quite addictive and fun.

FWIW, I found this program at c2.com. They explain how it works in an old QST article which you can download from the site. It seems to be a pretty easy way to learn.

When I was studying code I used the software here:

http://www.mrx.com.au/

I found it very easy to use, and the lan chat module was great in letting me try my skills against a live operator...such as they were.

An excellent self-paced learning program is LWCO.NET.

Another is G4FON which you can find by GOOGLE.

LWCO is an on-line program.
G4FON is a program that you download.

I recommend both of them and suggest that you use both.
