Re K3AN... Merits of pro/con completely aside. Would that not also depend on the sponsor of the contest. While one contest may not allow the use of computer aided CW scanners, another might qualify its use, and another might just say I dont care if you do or do not. Would it not depend on who is running the contest??? This is new territory in so far that technology has enabled those unable or less talented to compete at par or better than those using natural unaided talent. The world is changing/changing from natural talent and practiced skill to mechanical/computer aptutute.
