In November, I'm scheduled to give a talk to our local club about "wall-paper" and so I'm researching for what certificates there may be concerning 'contesting'. I'd appreciate any input folks could provide. Thanks in advance. PS. I'm posting a similar request on the "club" forum.

WOW, Enumerating the certificates that are available is virtually impossible because there are SOOOOO many ! But, ALL of the major contests have certificates available for the winners along with many of the minor contests. Major contests include, but not limited to: ARRL Intl DX Phone and CW CQ Intl DX, CQ WPX & CQ RTTY Canada Day Sweepstakes and many, many more. Minor Contests ( and they are in no way minor) State QSO Parties Regional QSO Parties Various European and Asian contests A good research reference is www.sk3bg.se/contest or www.contesting.com On SK3, you can see a calendar of most of the contests around the globe, then click on the rules link on the various contests. Contained in the rules, there will be a list of certificates or plaques available to the winners. Good luck with the presentation.

Take a peek at DXAwards.com. In addition to contest awards from virtually every event, there are literally hundreds of other certificates available for the wallpaper chaser. Many clubs and organizations sponsor various awards for this or that operating acheivement. Some are ongoing while others are short-term special event awards. K1BV highlights different ones in his CQ Magazine column every month.
