I have been working the 4 state QSO parties this weekend with mixed results. I have a halfwave vertical and a brand new A3S beam at just 21 feet. I haven't worked a single Vermont station but New Mexico is coming thru gangbusters. 9 new NM counties. Just 4 new MN counties. And a half dozen DE contacts. I have worked all Deleware, WAD ! All 3 counties, LOL. Several 10-10 contacts to TX and OK this morning.
So, how are you all doing? Hopefully better.

tnx for taking the time to work the MNQPY. I was going to work some states on 20 meters but got too involved working rovers on 8o meters. Had a wedding in the middle of the afternoon so that took up a lot of my time.

I guess I missed a comma. I have a vertical antenna. I also have a A3S at about 20 feet. Not a great heigth, but temporary. Maybe that was the problem. I don't know. I guess that ehammers are not big contesters. I was hoping for some feedback so I could guage my performance.
Is there a better site for discussion of current contests?

Turnout in the VT QSO Party by in-state ops is typically anemic at best. Don't be disappoited you didn't hear anyone....there probably wasn't anyone to hear.
As for the others, it depends on what bands you were looking on. The path on 20m between OH and NM is very good. It's not unexpected that you did well there. The path on 20 between OH and MN is almost non-existent under current conditions. (It'll get better.) You probably heard little, if anything, from MN on 20m. On 40m most of the action in the MnQP was on CW. There weren't many MN stations calling CQ on 40 phone, though the path should have been decent. (It was all day from Ft Wayne IN) If you called CQ MN you would get answers. Most of the phone action in the MnQP was on 80m. It was tough to get their attention from IN, even with a KW and good antenna. It would have been even tougher the further east you went.
