Bandpass Filters Reply

I think I understand the use of filters like the I.C.E. 419b and the W3NQN switched filters in a multi-transceiver contest station. But are they of any use to the casual contester / operator ??

Thanks,

Rick N6NKN

Unless you plan on SO2R (transmitting on one radio while simultaneously receiving on another), you don't really need them.

One use might be if you have other hams very close by (a neighbor) who are also active on HF.
