Hello,

Your question is EXACTLY the reason why we have made a little website. The answer to your question resides on hard disks of different people - in their logger program files. Only problem - this knowledge is not shared.

To cut long story short - our simple website extracts this knowledge from ADIF format files and stores it in it's local database. All who's interested are MORE than welcome to upload their own files - the more files the better picture we have!

Go and check it out -

Well who knows the situation there in Egypt. Could be that he does'nt have a PC. Or internet. Or neither.
Obviously he does not reply to QSL cards. Or incoming cards never reach him.

But hey..most important thing is that the guy is on the air! That's a good start. Maybe the situation will improve for him and he will send out cards eventually.

He has a website and receives PayPal payments for QSL cards. So internet obviously he does have. I just sent him $3 via PayPal a couple of weeks back, and as he requested my QSL via the mail with an SASE. I have no idea how long getting a return might take. Has anyone been succesful doing this?

I worked him 6/07 and received the QSL 5/08. My QSL sent direct with IRC. I don't know about recent contacts/QSLs, but in the past it has taken a while. :)

VA3XQ: Your wish is his command - logs uploaded to LoTW this afternoon. My CQWW-SSB 40m QSO from 2 weeks ago was in there no problem. A previous 20m RTTY contact from September 2007 showed up on LoTW on May 12th 2008 as well.

Chris,

I have his QSL card for a RTTY contact a few years ago. I seem to recall it didn't take too long for him to return my card.

I've seen a few people questioning whether or not he does reply to cards but rest assured he does.

Good luck.
