Hi folks-
Out of morbid curiosity, I'm interested in
finding out about our old friend Romeo, 3W3RR. I've
found several small bits of info on the web related to
his downfall, specifically the debacle of XY0RR and
P5RS7 operations. However, these have all been a
coupel paragraphs long at best. I've searched on
Google for 3W3RR, XY0RR, P5RS7 and 5A0RR, and have
gone to any links I found through that search that had
relevant info. I'm curious for more details, though, especially of his "operations" from P5, XY, and 5A. Some of the details of how those events transpired would be interesting reading.
Are there any books out there that deal with any of
these operations (and their aftermath) at length? Any
other sources of info I could peruse, perhaps that
tells what he's doing these days? I've read rumors he was living in the Miami area around 1999, then I saw he had a big house in Malta. Still another claims he was thrown into a Russian gulag for his fraudulent radio activities.
So, what happened to the guy? Is he still reputed to be an arms dealer? Did he open a pizzeria somewhere? Shining shoes in Karachi? What gives?
Just curious,
Sean KX9X
Thanks for any info you can pass on.
73,
Sean

You might ask Harry...his buddy that was part of the Burma and North Korea fake. I dont recall his call but he went on a few major dxpeditions lately..I think one was VK0IR. How they allowed that is beyond me.
He is just as guilty as Romeo was. in fact he posed with Romeo on one of the cards.

Hi Sean! He is probably retired and living comfortably on the interest from all of our greenstamps over the years. Hope you're doing well! 73, Rich, WX9X
