SV2ASP/A QSLs? Reply
by W1NK on April 7, 2008 Mail this to a friend!
I'm just curious if anyone worked Fr. Apollo on 21 May 07 on or around 0000Z and whether or not you've received a QSL. I've got 2 cards off to him, sent several months apart. I suspect the address I used on the first request (qrz.com) wasn't the "entire" adr. as my 2nd request went via the adr found at www.qslinfo.de

I understand there was a pirate using Fr. Apollo's call a few days before, but have seen no mention of a pirate operating on the day in question.

Any luck anyone??

Frank, W1NK

A local friend of mine worked a pirate operation signing Monk Apollo's callsign last year. He sent a card and return postage. Monk Apollo sent him a note indicating he was not in the log, along with some sort of prayer card.

I hope he can be more active soon. I've heard him only a couple of times on CW, and once on SSB. Mount Athos is one I still need.

Thanks for the info Chuck. Sorry to hear your friend worked a slim. I am glad to hear, however, that Monk Apollo answers QSLs...even if it is to say you worked a pirate. I guess there's hope for me yet and maybe the 1st QSL was insufficiently addressed.

Fingers crossed

Thanks and 73

You could make a case that Mount Athos is not of this earth, and therefore should become a deleted entity.
