10 meter calling frequency Reply
by AC8EA on June 20, 2009 Mail this to a friend!
I've been searching for a standard SSB 10 meter calling frequency that's commonly used, but can't seem to find one.
Is there a particular frequency that I should use to call CQ on a seemingly dead band to see if anyone might be monitoring it in the US, or hopefully DX?
I woud like to monitor also and call CQ every once in a while.

While I don't operate 10 meters all that much, I believe 28.400.00 might be a good freq. That's where I go and then tune around slightly to find any activity.

Just found this web page: http://www.qsl.net/kd4sai/10meter.html

It shows 28.380 and 28.425 as 10/10 SSB Intl Calling Frequencies.

But it appears it may have last been updated in 2002.

I used this in the address field:

javascript:alert(document.lastModified)

On standard http pages it will show you the last time it was updated.

400 is commonly used.

495 is the standard DX freq.
