Has anyone received a card from Chris, for his TL0A expedition? He is still active in Central African Republic and I have no idea when he will go home to France. His mailing address is France, and I am wondering if he will reply from CAR or wait until he returns home. I have 2 or 3 QSOs on 17m SSB and have sent 2 requests, each with my card and IRC, but no reply as of yet. Any of you guys get a card from him yet? He does not have an email address listed on QRZ, so no way to ask him the status of cards. 73, Gene AF3Y

I presume he'll answer cards when he's home on holiday or his assignment is done. He was also TZ9A a few years back and I think it was the same arrangement.

I worked Chris last June when he was in Niger as 5U5U. I got his card sometime last winter. I expect my card for TL0A to show up sometime before the end of this year. Dave N6ORB

I am a bit worried about this one, especially when I saw some guy put a TL0A card on his website from a qso from early March 2009. I sent off cards for TL0A and 5U5U in early March and haven't had a thing back. Maybe it's just bad timing with Chris rarely getting back to France.

My TL0A card arrived today from Chris in France. Card was for a 17m SSB QSO in March of this year. It's my #250 Confirmed (Finally!). Gene

I received both TL0A and 5U5U from Chris today. Confirmation # 198 & # 199.... ONE TO GO. My goal is to get to 200 by the end of 2009.

Yep, 5U & TL arrived yesterday. Along with along an overdue R1AND card, so a good week.
