By virture of the number of amateurs 28.300-28.500Mhz for ssb and 28.100-28.300 for cw
Been some good DX last few days.

For CW... low end of the band, just above 28.000 with Novice/Techs just above 28.100 (28.200-28.300 is beacons.)
For SSB, you're going to find ten-ten guys and nets in the 300-400 range for the most part with 300-500 overall being the most populated. Above 500 will be DX and ragchewing when 300-500 is crowded and above 550 is usually folks wanting a clear frequency. 28.495 is a DX calling frequency so there and 10-20 kHz either side is a good place to look for DX; Europe in the morning through early afternoon, South America afternoons through evenings and Pacific/Asia in the evenings...
