o.k. i woulf like to make a 20 meter moxon antenna. the boom is aluminum the main antenna is wire the supports for the wire is PVC electrical conduit. inside the conduit is some dowel rods and expander foam. the wire is zip tied to the outside of the conduit. hopefully the dowel rod and expander foam will stop the PVC conduit sagging as the lengths are 3.8 meters each. the expander foam comes in a spray can. is this idea workable, and plausable?

Filling the hollow in pvc won't make it much stronger, but it will sure make it heavier. Probably enough to make it too heavy to hoist easily.
I'd find some way to own a few 3.8 meter pieces of fiberglass. Here is a link to a vendor that ships nesting fiberglass tubing world wide.

And you can ditch the aluminum boom. I'd think it would be counter productive. You just need a plate and four spreaders. Here's a link to a whole mess of ideas on how to build them on the cheap.
