I have one connected to my TV in the shack via the Video jack (RCA connector) I had to fiddle with the settings in the menu to make it fit the screen.
If your TV does not have a Video input feed it in a VCR Video input.
Hope this helps

The output is NTSC composite video. You have to have a TV type device that is old school video. I have used a portable DVD player.
I think maybe you better scrounge you video device soon cuz the US is switching over in Feb 2009.
A possible way to get the IC7K on a computer screen is to put the output into a video capture or TV card first and then display it on the computer screen. Of course you need a computer or laptop as well.
The IC7k graphics look pretty crude when you put them on a big screen. Just like old style big screen tvs.

There is a seller at Ebay that has 7 inch monitors with an interface produced by the seller that are specifically made for the IC7000. Maybe the interface he produces would work for a 17 inch monitor. Just do a search over at Ebay for the IC7000 and it should come up. Then you could contact him for the particulars. You might be able to just get the interface and not have to run it through another video device.
Hope this helps!!
