NEED HELP WITH WIRING THE TELEX CM-1320 HEADSET TO A TEN TEC ORION 2. WIRING FOR YAESU AND ORION 8 PIN ARE THE SAME.

Yes,the wiring for Yaseu and the Orion II are the same: 5 GND 6 PTT 7 MIC 8 MIC GND 73, Don, K2DC

THANK YOU FOR ANSWER,BUT IT IS THE TELEX CM-1320 I NEED WIRING TO, SO I CAN TRY IT ON MY ORION 2.

my head sets uses a 1/4 inch phono jack ( it must be stereo for the orion series or you will blow the audio am in the orion) to pick up the sound from the radio and only the mic is wired through the mic plug. Be sure to use stereo head sets as the dual recievers require stereo headsets. but any stereo head set will work. I belive one ear is tip, one ear is ring and the common is the sleeve (ground)

Thank you for answer, but the headset i have do also have microphone, i need to know how to wire the 8 pin plug ,so that i can use it om my orion 2,i dont want to break up the microphone to see what of the wires are for the mic, a diagram of the headset would be big help, i been on Telex homepage, but did not find anything about this headset at all.Perhaps someone have tried this set on ham radio?
