Hi Guys, has anyone out there wired a commerical style Kenwood KMC-9 desk style microphone(L-Shaped)up for amateur radio use? I've tried a couple of different combinations, so far No Joy. The mic. has the following colored wires, red, green, black, yellow, blue, clear. The Kenwood amatuer mic. cable I removed an old mic. from has gray, orange, red, black, blue, green, clear. Thanks.

JOE / WV2NY

Well, gee. The best way is to take it apart and find out which wire goes to what. Then use the wiring diagram in the manual to connect it correctly.
