This link above should tell you a lot. Nice rig. Have one (like new). Might be willing to part with it if you're interested.
Easy to use, covers all HF bands including WARC. Mine is also "open" for 5 meter band.
Highly sought after radio.
Used price (depending on condition) goes for around $750.00. That's what I would ask to part with it.
Great mobile radio, too, with the ATU. Many swear it was Yaesu's best portable radio and still others use it as their sole base station radio.

I have three of these rigs and use them as my primary stations for base, mobile and portable. The only HF equipment I would consider replacing the FT900 with would be a newer Motorola than my Micom-X. If you read the product reviews on the FT900 they give a good overview.

Typical USA used prices for an FT900CAT with the internal antenna tuner and Collins filter kit in excellent condition are from $550-650.

The FT900 is one of the easier amateur rigs to modify to 60 meters and its output is stable. I like mine alot.
