I can not key my IC706MKIIG with the interface I built .
It is the one with a DB9 couple of 1n4148 -a 2N2222A
a 10K resistor. Can copy fine in the screen using
WINPSK31-se223 bu when hitting F12 . No transmission.
I am feeding the rig thru the 13 pin acc.socket
in the back. Any ideas?

You might want to put an ohmeter on the leads you are using for PTT. It sounds as if either of 4 things is happening(or not happening):

1: The software is not configured to use PTT on the proper port.

2: Somehow you are on the wrong pin on the DB connector.(easy to do)

3: You are on the wrong pin of the connector on the radio. I'm not familiar with the 706, but most radios it is easy to get the wrong pin.

4: something is wrong with the interface.

If your ohmeter goes to short whent the software tells it to, then the problem is on the rig end. If not it's either the interface, db connection or software config.

Good luck and 73, Bill
