I have a IC735 in which the frequency dial often does nothing when the radio is first turned on. After a few minutes (and some rapid twirling) it begins to work, but it does not "track" sometimes doing nothing for a 1/2 turn or so or jumping up several 1/10ths of a Mhz before coming back down. The memories still work, but the memory battery is still the original from 1993. Everything else seems to work fine. I sent an e-mail to Icom some months ago, but heard nothing back from them. ANY ideas or suggestions would be most helpful before I send it somewhere for repair.
