HI

I m tryng to connect a KENWOOD PC-1 (phonepatch), to a Kenwood TM-241A, and i need help to connect the MIC connector from the PC-1 to the radio. I know the connections by the user manual of the TM-241A, but i donīt have the manual of the PC-1 (phonepatch), saw some manuals from NET but always from PC1-A , i donīt know if theyr the same, but the wires colors doesnīt match to the colors of my PC-1, in this model the wires colors are 4: RED,Black,Wite and a stripped wire. If some one know this equipente please help, this could be very useful in my iland, in emergency situacions.

If you download the Kenwood PC-1A Schematic from the link (Manuals-Kenwood-PC1A) on www.mods.dk (it is only 1 page in PDF), you will see the diagram of the connections for the PC-1 and the PC-1A.

If you have the PC1 that is a 4 pin mic connector.
The PC1-A is an 8 pin. You need to get the Kenwood
MJ-88 Mic adaptor that converts 8 pin round to Modular. Kenwood made an adaptor that converted 4 pin to 8 pin. It was the MJ 48. Kenwood does not make it
any more. Make your own adaptor . On the 4 pin 1 is mic hot and 4 is mic ground. 2 & 3 are PTT.
On the 8 Pin, 1 is Mic Hot and 7 is Mic Ground.
2 is PTT Hot and 8 is PTT Ground.
