Can anyone suggest a company that sells NiMH battery packs for an IC-T7H?

Thanks

I've had good luck with these folks, and they seem to get positive reviews here.

I got a BP-173x, 9.6v 1200 mAh NiMH battery pack and a drop-in rapid charger for less than $100 from www.batteriesamerica.com and they work very well. The battery lasts about three times longer and only takes about 2.5 hours to charge vs. 15 hours with the supplied charger from Icom. Used it with my T7H for over six months and now use it with my W32A.
They do not very good customer service though. If your order takes a long time to ship and you email or call to ask about it you will get a nasty response from them but they have good products at good prices and I've made several purchases from them.

I use a BP-170 alkaline battery case loaded with 2100 mAh NiMH batteries. This provides about 5 vdc to the T7H which results in 2 watts of output power which is more than adequate in most cases. Batteries last a very long time. 4 NiMH batteries cost $10. The BP-170 will cost you about $35. I then bought a Duracell CEF80NC 1 hour charger that came with 4 AA NiMH batteries and the total cost was $25.

Therefore I now have a 1 hour charger, a battery case, and two sets of AA NiMH batteries for a total cost was $70.

This also allows me to use Alkaline AA batteries in an emergency. Also when my NiMH batteries die (when they will no longer hold a charge), it will only cost me $10 to replace the pack.

(If you desire higher output power you can buy the BP-170L from Batteries America which holds 6 AA batteries, and load it with 6 NiMH batteries. This will provide approximately 7.5 volts dc to the T7H which results in around 4 or 5 watts output power.)

Just a suggestion, but really works out well for me.
