I have two really nice OAR ADFs one covering about 100 KHz to 20 MHz and the other covering 20 MHz to about 180 MHz. They can scan, have AM FM CW and USB/LSB modes and even have spectrum displays. I have repaired both to fully funtional rcvrs, but they are missing their true calling: direction finding. The antennas for these are pretty complex, not just pin diode switched pseudo dopp arrays. They seemn impossible to find used and the OAR company no longer is in business. The sucessor company offers nothing affordable. They cater to the military/govt customers who dont blink at a mid four figure DF antenna price.
Any leads? Anyone else here using OAR DF gear?

Mark

Are you saying that you have the receivers but not the special matching RDF antenna sets?
What are the model numbers? I might have some data on them.

And wandering around on Joe K0OV's www.HomingIn.com web site, we find
that OAR is now part of Cubic Corporation:
http://www.cubic.com/
The DF equipment is part of the military products group:

Thanks for the replies. I will get the model numbers and post them here next week.
