Tube amp using 7984 tube's for 6n2 meters. Reply

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has ever built an amp using the 7984 compactron beam pentode ? I have several and we used them in 42mhz ge mobile radios. Thought it would be a fun project to match my 6 and 2 meter tentec radio. Also used the 8106 to drive the tube's Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated. Im doing it for the fun and satisfaction, not the cost factor, and don't really need 1.5 kw to have fun with tubes. But i am looking at something later using the 4cx250 tetrode for SSB and CW as well.
