For an antenna tuner you want lots of spacing between the components and the case so there are no circulating currents set up in the chassis. Ideally a wooden box would have better efficiency. 73, Rob WA9UAA

Go buy yourself a nice tin of fancy cookies. From our local oriental market I got a very nice painted light gauge steel cookie box of almost the exact dimensions you're asking for. Nice fitted lid. (Really nice cookies!) And yes, it will house my tuner someday. Good luck! Tom
