hi eric,

try posting a wanted ad in the classified forum,
you will get more exposure there.

here is the tekscope group on yahoo,
you may find one close to your location.

When all else fails, try EBAY...but be careful. Make certain that the seller has a return policy. I've seen several very good buys on 100MHz scopes for under $100. If you can get a working 453B or 465B for that price, I'd say it's worth a shot. Avoid things like Tek 2215's, though. They were junk; I gave mine away.

An HP1740 or 1741 is a good alternative to a Tek 465 and can be had for about the same price. There are a couple of them on Ebay right now for $100 or less (as of 24 July). One even comes with probes.

Some of the off-brand scopes made by Hameg, Philips or B&K are useable but they're not built to the quality standards of Tek or HP scopes.

eBay.

I bought two Tek scopes a few years ago. 60 MHz and 100 MHz, each under $100.
