Hi all, any of you guys ever come across a Dynamic mic pickup that suits comms audio, HC-5's are rare as rocking horse manure, there must be something out there.

lots of Mics? or hc5- inserts, ?
all I could see on Heilsound site was the HC-104 Coversion kit ,
not necessarly after a HC-5, but if anyone has tried an after market Dynamic pickup, I would be interested.
did you mean HEAPS of Mics etc ,
I was after an insert to install in a TELEX D-950 Aviation headset, wonderful headset, you could use it as a weapon, drop it and it isn't going to explode,

Even though they don't show up in the parts list on the web site, as of a couple of years ago, Bob would sell the mike elements themselves.
As for replacement dynamic elements, virtually all of the small parts companies such as Mouser have several different models in their catalogs. Pick one that fits and go for it! :)
