Date License First Issued Reply
by N4LCV on September 28, 2009 Mail this to a friend!
I no longer have a copy of my first Ham ticket and would like to know when I was first licensed. I was first licensed as KB4HJE sometime in the mid '80's I think, and would like to know the actual date, but just knowing the year would be good. Since that time, I have changed my call and am now licensed as N4LCV. Can anyone tell me how to find out when KB4HJE was first granted?

Thanks

W3HF has a very large callbook collection and will look up an old call for you. Give him everything you know, address and likely year(s). He was good enough to find my grandfather's old 0x2 call from the 20's.

Looking up your current call at www.vanityhq.com shows your original license was issued October 14, 1983.
