If I upgrade to General, do I keep my current call sign?

It's up to you.

There's a box on the NCVEC 605 that says "change my station call sign systematically."

If this box is not checked, you keep your old call. If this box IS checked (and initialed), you will be assigned a new call.

You may also apply for a Vanity callsign if you wish.
