NOT REALLY LOST, BUT UNKNOWN ????? Reply
by N0CRS on July 6, 2008 Mail this to a friend!
Back in the day - early 1960s , I was SWLing the
160 meter band nightly, especially winter.
Anyway , I would listen to these 2 hams Qso ALL night,
discussing radio theory . Wow .
I was just wondering who these two guys were ;
college guys or insominacs ?
They had good knowledge of radio theory , at least I thought so .
I am living in Minnesota and these 2 fellas had W2
call signs .
My ' receiver' was a tweaked radio in an old record player / radio and a wire in my bedroom . 5 tube ,
ac-dc .
Anybody out east know ?
